About Us
Acorn Landscapes was established in early 2005 by Sam Brindley following his return from the UK where he studied Environmental Sciences, and worked for several reputable landscape gardening companies, most notably Edens of Poole Harbour in Dorset.
Acorn Landscapes now employs a small team of specialist tradesmen, and has undertaken numerous projects for clients ranging from private, to corporate and local authority, both in Ireland and abroad.
‘Committed to Quality’
It is the companies aim to provide a complete Landscaping Service in which the emphasis is placed squarely on quality workmanship across all disciplines.
Sam’s background in Environmental Sciences is borne out in Acorn Landscapes policy of promoting the use of indigenous Irish Materials and the planting of Native Trees and large Wildlife Corridors and Shelter Belts wherever possible. These areas serve as a mitigation to a projects construction and have become a trademark feature of Acorn Landscapes Designs.
To date Acorn Landscapes has won a number of national awards from the ALCI (Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland) for Landscape Design and Build in the Private Gardens Category in 2010, 2014 and a Gold in the International Category in 2017.
